# MarsChain Overview

Learn about MarsChain's PoC burn mining, dynamic calibration, dual-protocol deflation, and tokenomics model

MarsChain is a decentralized blockchain network built on a PoC (Proof of Computing Power) mechanism, building an open Web3 ecosystem through computing power collaboration, node consensus, and token incentives.

The network uses mechanisms such as computing power participation, node collaboration, cycle halving, and token burns to ensure network operation while controlling the pace of new token releases.

$MARS is MarsChain's native ecosystem token, used for network incentives and ecosystem applications, serving as an important medium connecting users, nodes, and ecosystem scenarios.

Users can join MarsChain by participating in the computing power network, running nodes, or using ecosystem applications to jointly promote the sustainable development of the network and ecosystem.
